MANDATE

This section is tasked to issue Mayor’s Permit for: business or calling; motorized tricycle for-hire; delivery trucking/van; farm machineries; working/occupational; and other activities covered under the Local Government Code of 1991 and the Solano Revenue Code of 2012. It evaluates and validates assessment of taxes, fees and documentary requirements. Conducts tax mapping & inspections in all businesses operating in this municipality. Issue and serve notices to whosoever found operating without Mayor’s Permit including Closure Order by the Local Chief Executive to flagrantly defying business establishments. Apprehend colorum tricycle, lady entertainers without working permits, students/pupils inside internet cafes and other vehicles with violations.

OUR SERVICES

A.       SECURING OF BUSINESS/MAYOR’S PERMIT (NEW AND RENEWAL)

The Service: All businesses covered under the Local Government Code of 1991 and the Solano Revenue Code of 2012 are required to secure Business License/Mayor’s Permit.

Taxpayers may avail the services of the Business One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) every January each calendar year. A program of the Municipal Government where all line agencies concerned assign their representative/s at the Function Room, Municipal Hall to facilitates speedy issuance of clearance/s for the issuance of Business/Mayor’s Permit.

 B.     PROCESSING OF MAYOR’S PERMIT FOR TRICYCLE-FOR-HIRE & DRIVER’S ID 

The Service: Tricycle Permit is a Mayor’s permit issued to operator of tricycle for hire plying a prescribed route in the municipality. Driver’s ID is issued to Tricycle drivers for proper identification.

The Service: Truck/Van Permit is a Special Permit issued to delivery trucks/van entering the municipality to unload/deliver goods to various business establishments. Promotional Permit is a Special Permit issued to applicants promoting products or business thru promotional ads/sales by virtue of streamers/tarpaulin and samplings of products.
