MANDATE

The Human Resource Management (HRM) Section is in charge of personnel management and records keeping in accordance with the constitutional provisions on civil service, pertinent laws, rules and regulations thereon, including implementation of personnel mechanisms, policy guidelines and standards as the Civil Service  Commission may establish.

The Service: Application for a job is open to any qualified bona fide residents of Solano.

Job openings are posted at the LGU bulletin boards, at the HRM bulletin board and published at the Civil Service Commission, CSC Field Office Bulletin of Vacant Positions.

A Personnel Selection Board (PSB) screens applicants for promotion and appointment to permanent positions existing in the Plantilla.

  B.       PROCESSING OF APPLICATION FOR LEAVE OF ABSENCES

The Service: Officials and employees are entitled to 1.25 days each for vacation and sick leave every month. Applications for vacation leave must be filed 5 days before the actual leave. For sick leave, the application must be filed immediately upon return to work.

  C.       ISSUANCE OF PERSONNEL RECORDS, CERTIFICATE OF EMPLOYMENT SERVICE RECORDS & OTHERS

The Service: Present and former officers and employees of LGU Solano may request the HRM Section for copies of service records, certificates of employment and other certifications and personnel records.

These are usually required for salary loans and other forms of loans, credit card applications, step increments, promotions, retirement and terminal leave purposes, employment to other companies/agencies upon resignation from the government, benefits claims and other purposes.

D.     PROCESSING OF DOCUMENTS FOR GSIS, PAG-IBIG RETIREMEN, TERMINAL PAYT & PAYROLL EVERY PAYDAY

The Service: Preparation and processing of terminal leave pay and assistance in the filling-up of various GSIS/HDMF forms for retiring/resigning employees to be submitted / processed in the same concerned agencies. Daily Time Records every payday shall be attached to the Payrolls.
